2026 Update

Join Us for a Delightful AGM & Summer Afternoon Tea – 8 July

We are so pleased to invite you to a special Fellowship gathering on 8 July – a lovely chance to spend time together, share memories, and enjoy the company of former colleagues in beautiful surroundings.

Our day will begin with a light-hearted and entertaining game of Crazy Golf at Blaby Golf Club – a perfect way to relax, have a few laughs and enjoy some friendly competition. We will then move to a private room for the Area 15 AGM, where our formal business will be kept brief and informal.

Afterwards, you’ll be able to enjoy a delightful summer afternoon tea – a wonderful opportunity to sit back, chat, and catch up at leisure with friends old and new.

We would also like to offer a sincere apology for the delay to events information this year. This has been due to health and personal circumstances affecting members of the committee, and we thank you for your understanding and patience. Please be assured that we remain fully committed to providing enjoyable and inclusive social events for as many members as possible, while keeping costs reasonable and subsidised wherever we can to ensure good value.

We are also pleased to share that our ever-popular Christmas Lunch is currently being finalised at a new venue, planned for a date in early December – more details will follow soon. Please do let us know if you are interested in attending.

The Committee is here for all members. The Fellowship continues to offer support and advice to those who may need it, and you are always welcome to contact Area 15 in confidence via the Membership Secretary. It’s your Fellowship, and we are here for you.

With free parking available and such a pleasant setting, we hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a relaxed, sociable and enjoyable day.
